Nana Petzet: Lichtfalle / Light Trap, 2015

Eine Aktion der Hamburger Künstlerin Nana Petzet im Juli 2015 zum Thema „Lichtverschmutzung“: Auf das historische Feuerlöschboot „Repsold“ wurde die achteckige Lichtfalle montiert und durch das Gebiet des Hamburger Hafens geschippert. Biologen des Centrums für Naturkunde (CeNak) der Uni Hamburg untersuchten durch Zählung und Bestimmung das Vorkommen bestimmter Arten von Insekten im Hamburger Hafenbereich.

An action by Hamburg artist Nana Petzet in July 2015 on the subject of „light pollution“: The octagonal light trap was mounted on the historic fireboat „Repsold“ and sailed through the Hamburg harbour area. Biologists from the Centre for Natural History (CeNak) at the University of Hamburg investigated the occurrence of certain species of insects in the Hamburg harbour area by counting and identifying them.
